How do I search for an article

There are several ways to search within our website.
You can shop via Shop by Category.
Here you can search within the various categories and refine your search by clicking on the categories. These are again divided in subcategories

 

We also have a convenient Search function. Here you can search by name, item number, size, color etc.
The most sought search terms come revealed through a pop down.

 

And last but not least, we introduce as the only one (!) the Shop by Decades!
Are you looking or curious about articles from a specific decade then you can use this tool.
Our product range extends from the 1920s to the 1980s.

 

Do I need to create my own account to shop at ILV

You don’t need to do that, but certainly has its advantages.
With your own account you have your orders in management. You can control when your order is sent, tracking your order, create a wish list, view your order history.

It makes shopping a lot faster and easier!

 

 If I register now, can I change my details later
You may at any time log into your account and there you can change your password, shipping address, etc unless you have orders that are on HOLD and should be sent. Only then it is not possible to change your own address information.

 

I forgot my password

Did you forget your password? You can fill out your email address through Sign In Join.

You'll get a new password by e-mail. You can customize it yourself

 

Do you have a size chart

Yes! You can find in on each product page, in the Size Guide tab.

 

How can I receive the ILV newsletter

Via the Sig In Join button you can specify that you want to receive the ILV newsletter.

You will be informed of the latest news and ongoing actions.

 

How can I pay 

IDEAL: Free, safe and very easy! You will be directly linked to your own page for Internet banking. Here you can transfer the amount immediately and the money to our account. The advantage is that your order can be sent right away!

 

Paypal: Safe and smart with Paypal Online payment

 

Creditcard: We accept MasterCard, Visa and American Express

 

One-time debit: In a one-time debit you power us to charge you one-time. If you paid in this way it takes a maximum of five working days for your order to be sent when your order is under the 75 euro. When ordering over the 75 euro it takes up to 8 working days.

 

Bank transfer/pay in advance: When you choose to prepay, you own the amount to our account. Please pay within five working days, otherwise your order will be canceled. Once your payment is transfer to our account we will send the order. How long it takes, depends on your bank.

 

Pick up in Amsterdam: You can also pick up the order in our shop/office at the Prinsengracht in Amsterdam. The advantage is that you can try your products and you don’t need to pay shipping costs. The products remain five days, excluding Sunday reserved for you. We are open Monday to Saturday from 9.30 to 18.00. 


Do you have a gift card

Under the tab gift cards in the upper-right corner, you can find a ILV gift card

for sale. You can choose a digital or paper gift card. The first you get via email, the second by post.

Gift cards are valid indefinitely.  


How can I pay with the ILV gift card

During ordering, you can fill out the credit code at ' voucher code. 

The discount will be automatically calculated on the total amount. For any remaining amount you can choose a payment option. You can use the Gift card several times; therefore you use the same code

Shop by Categorie: Here you can search within the different catogories and refine your search by clicking on the catogories. These are again split in subcatogories.

 

ILV Timeline: Fashion History at one glance. From the Roaring Twenties to the Bullish Eighties with lots of story’s and inspiring pictures.

 

Live Chat: From Monday to Friday from 09.30 to 18.00 an ILV employee is available for all questions.

Search: Are you looking for something specific, this feature allows you to search by keyword, category, item number, etc.

 

How often are new products online

Almost every working day, the boots and bags are updated. Also other products are added, ranging from jewelry, pumps, clothing and new vintage inspired items.

 

How can I see the condition of the products

At ILV, we select products with care and love. Before photographing the product, we thoroughly clean and repair them if needed. Our shoemaker repairs broken heels and our lady-staff gives them a nice shine.

 

Even though, these still are vintage products, which are previously loved and used, and you will see some traces of usage.

To inform you about the condition of the products, we work with the ILV Hearts-system. A product receives a maximum of five hearts:

 

5: Perfect / Mint

4: Very Good

3: Good

2: Average / Good

1: Average

 

Besides the ILV Hearts-system, we try to capture every damage in the pictures.

 

Delivery 



What is the status of my order:

Once we have received the payment and the package is in the mail, you get a confirmation by mail. You also get a Track & Trace code, so you can follow the delivery.



I have received a damaged article
Our products undergo a rigorous inspection. If unfortunately something went wrong, please contact our Customer Service


I have received an item I didn’t order

Did you receive one product you didn’t order, please let us know immediately through our Customer Service


Are you missing an item from your order
It is possible one item is out of stock, we will indicate you this by mail.
We failed sending you an article; please contact the Customer Service. We will supply the item as soon as possible.

 

Shipping Fee

 

Orders within the Netherlands & Belgium

€ 5.95 of package shipments (orders which do not fit the mailbox)

€ 2.50 for small shipments (orders which do fit the mailbox, except vulnerable jewelry)

As soon as the invoice amount is credited to our giro account, the products will be sent. From then on it can take about 1 2 days before the arrival. Please note that at one-time debit the entire process is longer than the direct posting via I-Deal or Paypal.

For orders within Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, over 100 euro no shipping costs!

Orders within the different EU countries

Countries within the European Union shall be subject to the following rates, in a package to two kilograms:

Plus (insured and traceable):  ranging from € 7.95 to € 24.90

Once the invoice amount is credited to our giro account, the products will be sent.

From then it may take 2 to 7 days before the product arrive.

Can I use a different delivery address

Your package can be delivered to any home or work address. It is not possible to have them delivered to a Post Office.

 

 

RETURN


 

Our Return Policy

For new products apply the following rules:
Please return the products in the same condition including price tags attached within 14 days (excluding Sunday) with a date stamp of the post.
We will pay back the purchase amount after receipt of the return back to your account. Here, the original shipping costs and return costs are NOT reimbursed.


For vintage products apply the following rules:
Please return the products in the same condition within 5 days (excluding Sunday) with a date stamp of the post. You will receive an email voucher that is valid indefinitely.

Do you return the entire order you will get the original shipping costs refunded. DO NOT return the incurred costs.
Is there a partial order return, the original and return postage costs are NOT covered.
For a return with a value of 70 euro’s or more, you can get your money back.

These rules apply to both domestic and foreign orders 

 

How do I return an order  

We do our best to make sure that you are satisfied with your purchase. Should this not be the case, then you can return or Exchange a product.
