'I think fashion today is a constant reference to the past. Since the 60's, nothing really new or revolutionary has come up in the world of fashion. And
even when Christian Dior in the 50's attempted to revamp the Industry , all he did was look and borrow from the Edwardian Era, the resulting effect being that the amazing "New Look", wasn't that 'new' at all. Rather it was just a throwback and modified form borrowed from 1860's.
Going forward , we have had an amazing revlutionary fashion evolution in the 20th century and lots of great things happened that we can now tend to look back on. Everybody does it, consiously or subconsiously.
At ILV, we live, eat and breath fashion history, consequently, we are now providing a platform to both inspire and offer an amazing reproduction of the shopping experience of all the great of the last century. In this way, we hope to leave our eternal footprints on the sands of time, such that in the next century, future pioneers would also be able to build on the firm foundation that we are today extending.
